hey guys it's Luke how have you guys been? I am on tour right now called iShine Live along with some other artists. You might have heard of some of them. The Rubyz, Mission 6, and many others including me. If you hear about it coming to your town any time soon come on out its a load of fun and has a great message. We have a speaker who travels with us named Paige Armstrong, she has a great message because she has come from a hard life having survived cancer and tried to fit back into normal life after that. She really puts life into perpective, I know she has for me. The I in Ishine stands for identity and this is what ishine is mostly about and what Paige talks about. Particularly your identity in Christ. When people find their identity it proves to them God's love for them and that they don't have the change to fit someone else's perfect, but that God loves them the way He made them.

hey guys,
Sorry is has been a while. what have you been up to? I just want to say that I appreciate all you guys soooooooooooooo much, and that you are always valued by God even if you aren't loved by your peers. Well haha i got a little side tracked, my life lately has been a little boring with the strike and all there hasn't been much work to go out for. But we will have another online chat soon, I promise haha those, are a blast. Man, I am so bummed out about the super bowl. I wanted the Cards to win so bad. They deserved it I think.
honestly the Steeler's whole team are punks they cheat to win. But that is my opinion can't wait till my Titans win next year haha.
until next time,
Luke Benward

hey guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just finished a movie with Channing Tatum, from "Step Up" and "Coach Carter", Amanda Seyfried, from "Mama Mia", and Henry Thomas, the boy from "E.T." The movie is called "Dear John". I had a blast doing it, the director's name is, Lasse Hallstom, he directed "Chocolat", "What's Eating Gilbert Grape", and "Cider House Rules". He was a great director, and I learned a lot from him. In this movie I played an autistic boy and Lasse was a big help, because he worked with Leonardo Dicaprio , who also played an autistic boy in "Whats's Eating Gilbert Grape". I didn't have a huge part but, it was definatley worth it b/c of the people I was able to work with. I will tell you more about future projects when they come up but for now, this is my latest. I hope you see it, it will probably be rated either PG-13 or R so get your parent's permission first!!
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

hey ya'll!!!!!! Sorry I haven't written in a while but between football and homework I have had barely enough time to sleep. lol. I had a blast playing football this year. We were not very good but it was my first year to play wide receiver. I was very nervous to play that, but I got the hang of it before the first game. I think the problem with our team was that we were literally the smallest team in the league, and weren't very fast, so unless we executed our assignments perfectly then we would get our butts handed to us. Although we did end the season with a bang!! We won 46 to 0, it was so exciting. I miss playing right now even though we lost a lot, i love to play football.
Anyway, now to Club Luke, the store is up and running so be sure to visit that. We have 2 sweet t-shirts in the store now but we will update it with more merchandise soon. Thank you if you logged on for the online chat. I loved talking to you guys. I can't wait for the next one. OK ATTENTION!!!!! I am going on tour with a show called Ishine Live. It is a tour for us tweens ages 8 to 14, but everyone is really welcome. It is about finding your identity in that God made you just the way you are, and you don't have to change to fit the world's description of perfect, and that you're perfect in God's eyes. You can see the dates at myspace.com/ishinelive. If the tour comes close to your area, please come out to the sho. I would love to see you there and meet you. I promise to blog more now that football is over. Talk to you soon..

Hey guys!!!!!!!!!!!! How have you been?
The other day I went on this house boat out on lake. It was an amazing time. Such a blessing. It was my friend Tyler's birthday.
It so much fun.
My whole family went, and I went on a jet ski for the first time. The jet ski was a blast. I loved going in circles really fast. There also was a water slide that went into the lake. We jumped off the three story boat into the water. I was a little scared to dive off, but once I did it I kept doing it.
Peace,
Luke
P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TY

Sorry it has taken so long for me to blog, life has been crazy but I promise to do it a lot more. So...here we go...right now i am filming a movie for Universal called Mostly Ghostly . I play a ghost named Nicky. I play Maddison Pettis's brother, her name in the movie is Tara.
The movie is about a guy who is kind of like an outcast in school, named Max. But there is something special about him, he can see ghosts. Me and my sister have been dead for two years now, and Max lives in our old house. Tara and I are trying to find our parents and find out how we became ghosts. While Max is trying to live like a normal person and be excepted, Tara and I take Max on a wild adventure to find our parents.
I have had so much fun on this set. Everyone is so nice, the director, ADs, PAs, DP, and so forth are so nice and on top of their game. A few fun facts about this movie is that this is Lindsey Lohan's little sister, Alli's, first movie as well as Miley's little sister, Noa, is in it as well. Maddison is like a little sister, it has been great working and hanging with her. Stay tuned, I'll keep you posted....see ya...Luke

Hey guys, I just wanted to say, WHAT UP and WELCOME TO MY FANSIGHT!
I am so stoked about finally get it up and running. This is where I will be blogging about what I am up to. And just so you know, this is THE ONLY OFFICIAL LUKE BENWARD WEBSITE!!! Anything else you find is not really me.
I would love for you to join my email list so I can keep in touch with you (sign up here). If you do, you can download my song “Get Up ” –free for a limited time!!
I have also set up an exclusive friend club called “Club Luke”. When you join you will receive a signed 8x10 picture, an online chat 4 times a year, and many other exclusive member benefits. The annual fee is $10 to cover costs. Of that $10, I am taking $1 of it to start my own charity called “Covering America ”. I really want to do what I can to help the homeless. Ever since I was 3 years old I can remember wanting to do something to help them. So, as I raise money throughout the year, I am going to take that money and buy blankets for homeless here in Nashville where I live. Hopefully, over time, it will grow throughout the nation. So come join the club!
We are also working now on getting the store up and running. I will have music, posters, t-shirts and much more very soon.
Looking forward to getting to know you and I hope to see you soon.
Your friend,
Luke Benward
